ดีไซน์เพื่อเติมเต็มพลังด้านมืด

โน๊ตบุ๊คเอชพี รุ่น Star Wars^TM Special Edition ได้แรงบันดาลใจในการออกแบบมาจากสมรภูมิรบในจักรวรรดิกาแลกติก โดยที่บนบานพับของโน๊ตบุ๊ค ถูกสลักด้วยฟ้อนท์อักษร Aurebesh ซึ่งเป็นภาษาเฉพาะที่ใช้ในภาพยนตร์ และภาพทหารสตอร์มทรูปเปอร์ (Stormtroopers) ตัวละครไอคอนของ Star Wars บนแผงคีย์บอร์ด ส่วนของทัชแพดนั้นดีไซน์ให้คล้ายกับหน้าจอระบบนำทางบนยานรบ Star Fighter และดีไซน์ไฟใต้ปุ่มคีย์บอร์ดให้เป็นสีแดงเพื่อเติมเต็มความสมบูรณ์แบบในการสื่อถึงพลังของด้านมืด
