เอชพี ตั้งเป้าใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าหมุนเวียน 100 เปอร์เซ็นต์

เข้าร่วม RE100 Global Initiative โครงการระดับโลกที่เร่งให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงในตลาดพลังงานโลก

มาเก๊า, 11 เมษายน 2559 — เอชพี อิงค์ส่งเสริมพันธกิจด้านความยั่งยืนที่มีมายาวนาน โดยปฏิญาณจะใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าหมุนเวียนร้อย

เปอร์เซ็นต์ในการปฏิบัติงานทั่วโลก ด้วยเป้าหมายนี้ เอชพีได้เข้าร่วม RE100 ซึ่งเป็นโครงการระดับโลกนำโดยกลุ่มธุรกิจชั้นนำที่มุ่งมั่น

ร่วมกับ CDP และได้ทำงานร่วมกับบริษัทต่างๆ เช่น เอชพี เพื่อช่วยให้ธุรกิจเหล่านั้นเปลี่ยนไปใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียน และเร่งให้ตลาด

ในย่างก้าวสำคัญเพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายที่ท้าทาย เอชพีได้วางแผนเพิ่มการใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าหมุนเวียนในการปฏิบัติงานทั่วโลกให้ได้ถึง 40 เปอร์เซ็น ในปี 2563 เป้าหมายใหม่นี้ตอกย้ำความทุ่มเทของเอชพีเพื่อผสานความยั่งยืนเข้ากับกลยุทธ์หลักของธุรกิจ

เอชพี อิงค์ จะใช้กลยุทธ์ 3 ขั้นต่อไปนี้ เพื่อก้าวไปสู่จุดหมาย

1. ลดการบริโภคพลังงานด้วยการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงาน / การใช้งานอาคาร และการดำเนินงานโครงการใหม่ๆ เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพ

2. เพิ่มการใช้พลังงานหมุนเวียน ณ แหล่งกำเนิด (on-site)

3. สร้างพลังงานหมุนเวียนภายนอกสถานที่ (off-site) เพื่อสร้างสมดุลให้กับการปล่อยพลังงานสีน้ำตาล รวมถึงการใช้เครดิตการผลิตพลังงานหมุนเวียน (RECs) และสัญญาซื้อขายไฟฟ้า (PPAs)
