จะสังเกตได้ว่าไฟVcore DefaultของตัวCore i7 975 ขณะ Full load จะมากกว่า Core i7 965 อยู่เล็กน้อย แต่กลับทำอุณหภูมิได้เย็นกว่า นับว่าคราวนี้ทางอินเทลได้ปรับปรุงแก้ไขปัญหาความร้อนจากเดิมลงได้เป็นอย่างดีทีเดียว
