…สำหรับ Core i7 870 จะมีสเป็คโดยรวมคล้ายๆกับ Core i7 LGA1366 มากๆครับ คือมีMemory Controller อยู่ในตัวCPU มีL2 Cache ขนาด 256kb จำนวน 4units และL3 ขนาด 8MB อีก 1unit มี hyper Threads Technology ที่ช่วยให้มีเธรดการทำงานเพิ่มขึ้นจาก 4Threads เป็น 8Threads มีระบบ Turbo Boost ช่วยให้การทำงานในลักษณะเธรดเดียว มีความเร็วที่สูงขึ้นกว่าความเร็วมาตรฐาน จะมีส่วนที่โดนตัดออกไป แค่เพียงเปลี่ยนจากการใช้ memory แบบ Triple Channel มาเป็น Dual Channel เพียงเท่านั้น แต่ถึงมีส่วนที่ด้อยลง ก็ยังมีส่วนที่ดีขึ้นกว่าเดิม นั่นก็คือค่าTDPที่ต่ำลงกว่าเดิมคือ จาก 130W เหลือเพียง 95W ซึ่งจะช่วยให้ตัวซีพียูกินไฟน้อยลง และความร้อนก็น้อยลงด้วยนั่นเอง และที่เด่นที่สุดของCore i7 บนLGA1156 ก็คือมีระบบTurbo Boost ที่แรงขึ้นและฉลาดขึ้นกว่าเดิม นั่นก็คือจากที่เดิมความเร็วจะสูงขึ้น 1สเต็ปของตัวคูณ เช่น Core i7 920 ที่มีความเร็ว 2.66GHz (20*133.33MHz) จะทำงานที่ความเร็วสูงขึ้นเป็น 2.80GHz (21*133.33MHz) เมื่ออยู่ในโหมดเทอร์โบขณะทำงานแบบ Single Thread อยู่ แต่สำหรับซีพียูบน LGA1156 จะมีความเร็วสูงขึ้นจากเดิมสูงสุดถึง 5สเต็ปตัวคูณ!! ซึ่งจะแปรผันตามจำนวนเธรดที่กำลังทำงานอยู่ นั่นก็คือยิ่งทำงานน้อยเธรด สเต็ปความเร็วก็จะสูงขึ้นเรื่อยๆตามลำดับ ดังตัวอย่างครับ

…ขณะรัน SuperPI 32M แบบเธรดเดียว จะมีความเร็วขึ้นๆลงๆ แปรผันตามจำนวนเธรดที่เรียกใช้งาน โดยส่วนมากตัวคูณจะถูกล็อคอยู่ที่ 26 และความเร็วจะอยู่ที่ 3.44GHz จากเดิมที่ความเร็วอยู่ที่ 2.93GHz ซึ่งส่วนมากแล้วการทำงานทั่วๆไปจะเป็นในลักษณะนี้ ซึ่งทำให้เราได้ความเร็วที่แรงขึ้นมาจากที่เราซื้อแบบฟรีๆ โดยไม่ต้องOverclock เพิ่มเติมแต่อย่างใดครับ

…สำหรับ Core i5 750 จะมีสเป็คโดยรวมคล้ายๆกับ Core i7 LGA1366 เช่นกันครับ แต่จะมีส่วนที่โดนตัดออกไปมากขึ้นกว่าCore i7 บนแพลตฟอร์มLGA1156 นั่นก็คือจะโดนตัด Intel® HT technology ออก ทำให้เหลือเธรดการทำงานอยู่ 4เธรด เท่ากับจำนวนคอร์จริงๆของCPU ความเร็วสปีดของซีพียูที่ลดลงเหลือรุ่นสูงสุดคือ Core i5 750 อยู่ที่ 2.66GHz  และสุดท้ายจะถูกตัดความสามารถSupport Memory DDR 1600 MHz ที่ความเร็วบัสเดิมๆ 133MHz ออกไป นั่นก็คือถูกตัดอัตราทดแรมที่ 1:6 ออกไปนั่นเอง แต่ระบบTurbo Boost 5สเต็ปตัวคูณก็ยังคงมีเช่นเดียวกับรุ่นใหญ่ ดังตัวอย่างครับ
